I decided to try out this site because it rated kind of high on this site. I am a black female looking to date white men, the interface of the site is pretty standard,but I really liked the profile builder. You can get quite detailed and it covers pretty much every aspect of your lifestyle, from finances, and goals to your opinions about interracial dating itself and even pets.
This feature becomes very useful as you look through profiles because it gives you the ability to be very specific in what you are looking for. I held off upgrading my membership, (which was quite affordable) and I am glad I did. There is almost no one using that site.
The ratio of women to men is way off. You only see the same profiles and most of the men haven't used the site in months. They have a chat feature and I never saw more than 10 people at a time in the chat room, when I did enter it was almost all women and they were friends.
This site has good intentions, but they miss the mark due to the simple fact that they are missing a most important component--members.
I would recommend someone seeking an interracial dating site to look elsewhere.
In summary, I would not recommend Black And White Singles to a friend.
